Jaw crusher is considered as primary crusher. Jaw crusher is used to crush big stones, and its crushing mechanism is based on the pressure between two jaws plates. The fixed jaw is fixed to a fix floor in a V shape, while the movable jaw is ribbed and moves back and forth in a reciprocating movement

At the moment of returning the jaw, the spring also works and intensity moves the moveable jaw forward and crushing is done by the impact of the movable jaw.
